Summer Rain Gift Shop
Debbie Lujan and her mother Shirley began Summer Rain Gift out of their ancestral home at Taos Pueblo fourteen years ago. Debbie maintains the shop year-round while Shirley makes traditional mica pottery and other crafts.
Summer Rain specializes in hand-coiled pueblo pottery and contemporary and traditional hand-made jewelry from Native American artisans of the region. Mica clay pueblo wall hangings and corn maidens inlaid with semi-precious stones are unique items made by Shirley which can be custom ordered.
We also have southwestern home décor such as Navajo hand painted candleholders, switch plates and nightlights, decorative tiles and silk-screened pillows.
Summer Rain proudly provides our customers with complete documentation of the artists and their works upon purchase.
Our shop includes a candy store stocked with cold refreshments, snacks, film and disposable cameras. In the winter months, stop by for a delicious hot chocolate, hot apple cider or chai tea!
